2026.08.3 — August update

Open bookings now send automatic reminder emails to finalised passengers and drivers before the journey starts. Configure the reminder period in Settings → Options → Booking reminders, and preview sample emails from there.

Make forms, tables, headers, notifications, and booking route-stop actions usable on phones
Settings → Import data now uses clearer dark-mode colours for preview counts, status text, and the column reference table. Skip for now is only on the onboarding checklist.
The invoices list now has a Balance due toggle to show only invoices with a remaining amount to collect.

Unpaid open-booking place expiry now moves any partial payment to member account credit instead of voiding it with the invoice.

Add Settings → Import data page for admins to bulk import members/staff, vehicles, and bookings from CSV with preview validation, create-only merges, and no import emails.
Add operational area settings on Options so teams can define a service boundary in miles or drive-time minutes from the home base, with a map preview that dims areas outside the boundary.

Volunteer driver email links now open a confirmation page styled like the join pages, with availability toggles and a confirm step before the booking is updated.
The volunteer confirmation success state now shows a success-coloured icon above the message.
The volunteer request page now shows journey details in a formatted card with icons for team, schedule, route stops, and notes.
What's new on the dashboard and in the user menu now uses a two-column layout with versions and dates on the left and Features, Improvements, and Fixes on the right, a secondary pink gradient like the homepage hero, a secondary Got it button, a white View all updates button, and clearer dark-mode colours.
